This Gem is amazing! I have stayed here for several years and even staying one week at a time is Never enough time! I feel like I am going "home" when I arrive.
Richard and Shelley are wonderful hosts. This place is my yearly trek. I never feel complete until I have had my Cabin 5 every year!
I had a fantastic stay at Cabin 5 and can't wait to return! The view is amazing, the beds were so comfortable and the cabin was very clean, it's the perfect getaway!
I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend here as a quick get away. This is the perfect place to get away from everything while still having the option of being as connected as you like. First and foremost, the views are amazing. You can see and hear the ocean from both bedrooms. There is plenty of room on the huge deck to relax by the fire pit all day long. The interior is cozy and well appointed. There is a cute little town just up the road with a few stores and shops. I was very impressed by the local pizza parlor. On the weekends there's a nice little farmers market in town too. I highly recommend this to friends and co-workers alike and cannot wait to go back.
I've stayed in the cabin many times over the years and always have a wonderful time. My favorite parts are the beautiful views, the sounds of the ocean and the seals, the sunsets, and of course, the fireplace. Nothing like drinking a glass of wine and snuggling into an afghan in front of the fire. The beds are comfortable, there are always plenty of towels, and the kitchen is fun to cook in. I will definitely be back!
I can't say enough about this place. It was everything we wanted . After a long hard year of teaching we just wanted a place to sit and watch the ocean. We got so much more . The cabin is enchanting and interesting . The accommodations were wonderfully comfortable and to top it off we got a up-close and beautiful view of the ocean . We loved it !!
Thank you, Shelley & Richard ... I wish I could have stayed longer on this last trip, but believe me when I tell you how much I needed exactly what you and your beautiful cabin delivered. Put simply, I feel restored, and a bit better equipped to cope with some difficult ongoing stresses and pressures in my "back at home" life.
To other, potential renters: You cannot go wrong with this property or these property owners. Special, friendly, extremely helpful, astonishingly accommodating, very patient, and fabulous sense of humor. This was my first VRBO rental ever, and thanks to these wonderful hosts, I cannot imagine how I could have had a better experience. Shelley, Richard, I'll be back, and next time, I'll bring my (currently envious!) husband with me.
